Glenmore Lodge and DMM are pleased to announce a new partnership. This brings together Scotland’s National Outdoor Training Centre and DMM’s climbing equipment manufacturing expertise.

The relationship secures the provision of climbing hardware and harnesses, providing the basis of climbing racks for use in both winter and summer.

Glenmore Lodge actively seeks to partner with industry brands and manufacturers to ensure the highest quality of equipment for all students visiting the Centre as well as for its instructors.

Jon Jones, Head of Rock & Mountain discipline, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with DMM, a company which shares the same passion for climbing as ourselves and a company that has been in the heart of the climbing community since their creation almost 40 years ago.”

He continues “With thousands of students passing through our doors each year, we seek to provide equipment which is ideal for the unique Scottish environment, with our demanding winters and range of rock types. In all of our partnerships, we actively seek to test product and provide feedback, helping future developments and also keeping this relevant to the Scottish environment.”

Comment from DMM

Rob Wilson, DMM Marketing & Sales Director, said: “We are extremely pleased to be announcing this partnership. One with a shared value in commitment to the highest quality. Feedback from long-term product testing by the Lodge’s guides, instructors and clients will be invaluable. Test environments don’t come much harsher than Scotland in winter. This year is the 70th anniversary of Glenmore Lodge in delivering the very best in climbing and mountaineering training and we’re proud to part of their future.”
