Aero Wire

One of our best selling biners that despite being competitively priced is loaded with features to increase safety and ease of use.

Hot forged from 7000 series alloy the Aero Wire is a medium/large size biner for all-round use and is rated at 9kN gate open whilst only weighing 43g.

The Aero wire is anodised to help combat corrosion and prolong life in hot, damp, or salty environments.

The custom wire gate is curved to give a constant tension for ease of clipping and increased long-term safety. The tip of the wire is also bent so that it pulls into the nose when loaded in order to minimise the chance of the biner being loaded in the gate open position.

The nose is shrouded to minimise the chance of the gate being opened accidentally and the biner incorporates a rope groove so that loads are pulled into the spine of the biner.

The Aero Wire is the first step in the DMM carabiner range and yet it would be most companies premium product.
